The car insurance is not valid if the vehicle is used off-road, for sporting events or for driving lessons.

Mileage is unlimited when travelling within Lithuania. If you want to travel abroad, there is a 300 km per day limit for cars and 500 km for minibuses. For every additional 100 km, there is a charge of between €10 and €15, depending on the type of car. Travel outside Lithuania is only possible with cars still covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
